For I will send pestilence into her, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall fall in the midst of her, with the sword on her on every side; and they shall know that I am Yahweh. 23 내가 그에게 전염병을 보내며 그의 거리에 피가 흐르게 하리니 사방에서 오는 칼에 상한 자가 그 가운데에 엎드러질 것인 즉 무리가 나를 여호와인 줄을 알겠고
Merodach is broken in pieces; Her idols are humiliated, Her images are broken in pieces.' 3 For out of the north a nation comes up against her, Which shall make her land desolate, And no one shall dwell therein. 3 이는 한 나라가 북쪽에서 나와서 그를 쳐서 그 땅으로 황폐하게 하여 그 가운데에 사는 자가 없게 할 것임이라 사람이나 짐승이 다 도망할 것임이니라
There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst of it, like a roaring lion ravening the prey: they have devoured souls; they take treasure and precious things; they have made her widows many in the midst of it. 25 그 가운데에서 선지자들의 반역함이 우는 사자가 음식물을 움킴 같았도다 그들이 사람의 영혼을 삼켰으며 재산과 보물을 탈취하며 과부를 그 가운데에 많게 하였으며
I will make the rivers dry, And sell the land into the hand of the wicked; I will make the land waste, and all that is in it, By the hand of aliens. I, the LORD, have spoken." 내가 그 모든 강을 마르게 하고 그 땅을 악인의 손에 팔겠으며 타국 사람의 손으로 그 땅과 그 가운데에 있는 모든 것을 황폐하게 하리라 나 여호와의 말이니라 13
And there stood before them seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel, and in their midst stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan. Each man had a censer in his hand, and a thick cloud of incense went up. 이스라엘 족속의 장로 중 칠십 명이 그 앞에 섰으며 사반의 아들 야아사냐도 그 가운데에 섰고 각기 손에 향로를 들었는데 향연이 구름 같이 오르더라

16 Then Menahem struck Tiphsah, and all who were therein, and the borders of it, from Tirzah: because they didn't open to him, therefore he struck it; and all the women therein who were with child he ripped up. 그 때에 므나헴이 디르사에서 와서 딥사가 그 가운데에 있는 모든 사람과 그 사방을 쳤으니 이는 그들이 성문을 열지 아니하였음이라 그러므로 그들이 그 곳을 치고 그 가운데에 아이 밴 부녀를 갈랐더라

They shall dwell securely therein; yes, they shall build houses, and plant vineyards, and shall dwell securely, when I have executed judgments on all those who do them despite round about them; and they shall know that I am Yahweh their God. 26 그들이 그 가운데에 평안히 살면서 집을 건축하며 포도원을 만들고 그들의 사방에서 멸시하던 모든 자를 내가 심판할 때에 그들이 평안히 살며 내가 그 하나님 여호와인 줄을 그들이 알리라
