It should further be remembered that when Adam forfeited life, he forfeited it forever; and not one of his posterity has ever been able to expiate his guilt or to regain the lost inheritance. 더욱이 상기해야할 것은 아담이 그의 생명을 상실하였을 때 , 그는 생명을 영구히 상실한 것이다라는 것과 그의 자손 중 한사람도 그의 죄를 속죄할 수 있거나 잃어버린 상속을 되찾을 수 있어 본적이 없다는 것이다 .
16:16 And may expiate the sanctuary from the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and from their transgressions, and all their sins. According to this rite shall he do to the tabernacle of the testimony, which is fixed among them in the midst of the filth of their habitation. 16:16 곧 이스라엘 자손의 부정과 그 범한 모든 죄를 인하여 지성소를 위하여 속죄하고 또 그들의 부정한 중에 있는 회막을 위하여 그 같이 할 것이요
