O God, my God! My back is bowed by the burden of my sins, and my heedlessness hath destroyed me. 하느님, 저의 하느님! 저의 등은 제가 지은 죄악의 짐으로 굽어졌사오며 저의 경솔함은 저를 파멸시켰나이다.
Tell the rich of the midnight sighing of the poor, lest heedlessness lead them into the path of destruction, and deprive them of the Tree of Wealth. 가난한 사람들의 한밤중 탄식을 부자들에게 일러주어라. 부주의가 저들을 멸망의 길로 이끌어, 저들이 부귀의 나무를 빼앗길라.
Thus have We manifested the truth of Our Revelation, that haply the people may be roused from their heedlessness, and be of them that understand. 이와 같이 우리가 우리 계시의 진리를 현시한 것은 사람들 이 자신의 부주의를 털고 일어나, 이해하는 이들 가운데 한 사람이 될 수 있을까 함이다.
Rend asunder the veil of heedlessness, that from behind the clouds thou mayest emerge resplendent and array all things with the apparel of life. 74 O CHILDREN OF VAINGLORY! 네가 구름 뒤에서 눈부시게 나타나서, 만물을 생명의 옷으로 치장할 수 있도록, 부주의의 너울을 산산이 찢어 버려라. 74
