It is the first hill mass north of Waegwan and its southern slope comes down to the edge of the town. 자고산은 왜관 북쪽의 첫 번째 언덕으로, 남쪽 사면을 타고 내려오면 왜관 읍내 가장자리에 바로 닿게 된다.
