1. The higher a civilization climbs, the more necessitous becomes the duty to "seek first the realities of heaven" in all of man's efforts to stabilize society and facilitate the solution of its material problems.
   문명이 높이 올라가면 갈수록, 사회를 안정시키고 그 물질적 문제를 쉽게 해결하려고 사람이 온갖 노력을 기울이면서, "먼저 하늘에 있는 실체들을 찾는" 의무가 더욱 필요하게 된다.
