• Now the king was very old, and Abishag the Shunammite was ministering to the king.
  왕은 매우 늙어서, 수넴 여자 아비삭 이 수종을 들고 있었다.
• So she said, "Let Abishag the Shunammite be given to Adonijah your brother as wife."
  이르되 청하건대 수넴 여자 아비삭을 아도니야에게 주어 아내로 삼게 하소서
• Now the king was very old, and Abishag the Shunammite was ministering to the king.
  그 때 왕은 매우 늙어 수넴 여자 아비삭 의 시중을 받고 있었다.
• So she said, "Let Abishag the Shunammite be given to Adonijah your brother as wife."
  21 왕의 어머니가 말하였다. "수넴 여자 아비삭을 아도니야에게 주어 아내로 살게 하시오."
• So he continued, "Please ask King Solomon--he will not refuse you--to give me Abishag the Shunammite as my wife."
  17 그는 이렇게 하는 것이었다. "솔로몬왕에게 말하여, 수넴 여자 아비삭을 저에게 주어 아내로 맞게 해 주십시오.
• And Bathsheba went in unto the king into the chamber: and the king was very old; and Abishag the Shunammite ministered unto the king.

• So they searched for a beautiful girl throughout all the territory of Israel, and found Abishag the Shunammite, and brought her to the king.
  그리고서 그들은 아름다운 처녀를 찾아 전국을 돌아다니다가 수넴 여자 아비삭 을 만나 그녀를 왕에게 데려왔다. 그 여자는 정말 아름다왔다.
• 3 So they sought for a lovely young woman throughout all the territory of Israel, and found Abishag the Shunammite, and brought her to the king.
  신하들은 허락을 받고 아리따운 처녀를 찾아 이스라엘 전국을 누볐다. 그들은 수넴 여자 아비삭이라는 처녀를 구해 왕에게 데려 왔다.
• Then he said, "Please speak to King Solomon, for he will not refuse you, that he may give me Abishag the Shunammite as wife." 18
  그가 이르되 청하건대 솔로몬 왕에게 말씀하여 그가 수넴 여자 아비삭을 내게 주어 아내를 삼게 하소서 왕이 당신의 청을 거절하지 아니하리이다 18
• So Bathsheba went to see the aged king in his room, where Abishag the Shunammite was attending him. 16 Bathsheba bowed low and knelt before the king.
  15 이렇게 하여 바쎄바는 침전으로 왕을 찾아 갔다. 그 때 왕은 매우 늙어 수넴 여자 아비삭의 시중을 받고 있었다.
• King Solomon answered his mother, Why do you ask Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? ask for him the kingdom also; for he is my elder brother; even for him, and for Abiathar the priest, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah.
  솔로몬 왕이 그 모친에게 대답하여 가로되 어찌하여 아도니야를 위하여 수넴 여자 아비삭을 구하시나이까 저는 나의 형이오니 저를 위하여 왕위도 구하옵소서 저뿐 아니라 제사장 아비아달과 스루야의 아들 요압도 위하여 구하옵소서 하고 23
• And King Solomon answered and said to his mother, "Now why do you ask Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? Ask for him the kingdom also--for he is my older brother--for him, and for Abiathar the priest, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah."
  22 솔로몬 왕이 그의 어머니에게 대답하여 이르되 어찌하여 아도니야를 위하여 수넴 여자 아비삭을 구하시나이까 그는 나의 형이오니 그를 위하여 왕권도 구하옵소서 그뿐 아니라 제사장 아비아달과 스루야의 아들 요압을 위해서도 구하옵소서 하고
• King Solomon answered his mother, ‘And why do you ask Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? Ask for him the kingdom as well! For he is my elder brother; ask not only for him but also for the priest Abiathar and for Joab son of Zeruiah!’
