증적 예문

• Verily I say, the human soul is, in its essence, one of the signs of God, a mystery among His mysteries.
  진실로 내가 이르니, 인간의 영혼은 그 본질에서 하느님의 증적 가 운데 하나의 증적이요, 그분의 신비 가운데 하나의 신비이다.
• Consider thy state when asleep. Verily, I say, this phenomenon is the most mysterious of the signs of God amongst men, were they to ponder it in their hearts.
  그 대 자신이 수면 중에 있는 상태를 생각해 보라. 진실로 내가 이르니, 사람들이 이 현상을 가슴 속 깊이 숙고해 본다면 이것이야말로 인간 사이에 드러나 있는 하느님의 증적 가운데 가장 신비로운 것임을 깨 닫게 될 것이다.
